About Our Practice
ADVANCED ANORECTAL HEALTH in Creve Coeur is dedicated to providing exceptional and comprehensive anorectal care. Our practice offers both medical and surgical treatment for numerous disorders related to the anus and/or rectum, including anorectal abscesses, fissures, hemorrhoids, warts and incontinence. After working in a hospital-based practice for 21 years, Dr. Hannah Ha saw the need for a patient-focused practice specializing in anorectal disease.
Dr. Hannah Ha, M.D.
Dr. Hannah Ha is double board certified in Colorectal Surgery and General Surgery. She has practiced over two decades in the St. Louis area. Dr. Ha graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1993 and completed her General Surgery Residency at University of California, San Diego in 1999. She then relocated to St. Louis for additional fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Washington University.
After her colorectal surgical fellowship, Dr. Ha practiced at Christian Northeast Hospital in Florissant for 16 years and St. Luke’s Hospital for an additional 5 years. In these hospital-based group practices, she was the physician in charge of complex colon, rectal and anal diseases. Dr. Ha was the driving force for the initiation and implementation of ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) at Christian Northeast and St. Luke’s hospital. As an active member of the St. Luke’s Cancer Care team, Dr. Ha was instrumental in setting standards for national accreditation for rectal cancer. While caring for colon and rectal patients, she realized that patients with anorectal problems were waiting too long to be seen. In order to provide patients with timely access to specialized anorectal care, Dr. Ha left a hospital-based practice in 2021 to open ADVANCED ANORECTAL HEALTH, LLC.
Dr. Ha was awarded one of the Top Doctors in the St. Louis Magazine 2021, 2022 and 2023. She participates in ongoing continuing education in both general surgery and colorectal surgery. After years of treating a variety of anal and rectal disorders, she understands the physical pain and psychological agony that patients endure. She is deeply committed to providing compassionate cutting edge medical and surgical care to get patients back to health.
